Description (English)
The active ingredient is Esomeprazole 40 mg (as Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate USP). Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole and is a more potent Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). It is used for the treatment of severe gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), healing of erosive esophagitis, and the eradication of H. pylori (when combined with antibiotics).
